Drugstore Makeup Tutorial!

Hello everyone, today I have for you a Drugstore Makeup Tutorial! All the products I will be using are from Boots or Superdrug. I will be doing a smoky eye, and I am really happy as well because I could never do it, I would always either get it really smokey,or it would make me look like I have a black eye, and no one really wants to look like that.
I hope you like this makeup look and lets get started!

The first thing I will do is prime my face with the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Erasing Primer, and this is a really good for clearing out your pores. I will just apply this on my T-zone, and just on my cheeks. I bought this from Boots and it was £7.99.

The next thing I will do is conceal my face basically, I will use my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, and I will apply this under my eyes, in the corners of my nose, and down my nose. I don't know what the shade is but I use the lightest shade there is. I blend this is with the Real Techniques Contour Brush. I got this concealer from Boots for £4.19

The next thing I will do is powder my face, and I use the Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder, and I got this from Superdrug £3.99. I apply this with the Primark Powder Brush, and I just put this all over my face.

I will then do my eyebrows, I use this brown colour from the Sleek Oh So Special Eye Palette, and I just fill in the sparse areas on my eyebrows. I then just set them in place with the Natural Collection Clear Mascara.

I will then do my eye shadow, and I first apply this caramel brown shade all over my lid, and the brush I use is actually the brush that comes with the Naked 3 Palette. I like to use the fluffy end to blend in my eye-shadow.

I then use the same colour I used for my eyebrows, all in my crease, and blend well to give the smoky effect.

Then finally I use the blank in the outer crease, and blend into the rest of the colours.
I then use the Collection 24 Hour Extreme Eyeliner Pen, and this is the best eyeliner pen I have ever used. I do a thin line across my eye lid, and then a little cat flick at the end.

After that I will then apply my mascara, and I will use the Maybelline The Falsies mascara for my top lashes, and I will put a few coats on them. I will then use the Collection No Clumps Mascara on my bottom lashes. I bought both of these mascaras from Boots. The maybelline mascara was £6.99 and the Collection mascara is £2.99.

Finally I will apply my lipstick, and I am using the shade Naked Beige from this Soap and Glory Lipstick Palette I got.

That is the end of the tutorial, and I hope you liked this makeup look!
Bye!x

How to make Lemon Drizzle Cake!

Hey everyone, today I have for you a recipe for my Lemon Drizzle Cake recipe.
This is one of my favourite things to bake as the aroma of when it is baking is amazing! If you like me doing baking posts, let me know in the comments? My dad works at Magnet, and he just built a new kitchen in his store, and its functionally working, so you can use it. He asked me and my sister to bake some things, so my sister made chocolate cupcakes, and I made mini lemon drizzle cakes.
Lets get started!

Ingredients:
6 ounces self raising flour
6 ounces caster sugar
6 ounces margarine
4 eggs
Zest of a lemon
1 tsp baking powder

Icing:
50g icing sugar
Juice 1/2 lemon

Method:

1. Preheat your oven to 160 degrees
2. Cream together the butter and sugar until its light and fluffy.
3. You then add the 4 eggs and the zest of a lemon, and beat well until it looks like this.
4. You then add the baking powder and the self raising flour, and mix to form a cake batter.
5. I have these 4 little mint green loaf tins, so I put my batter in their, you could put it into a bigger loaf tin, or into cupcake cases and make lemon drizzle cupcakes. You grease your tin, and then put equal amounts of the cake batter into each tin.
6. After this you put them into the oven for 35 minutes until they are golden. To check if they are done, stick a skewer into it and if it comes out clean, then they are baked. If it comes out with batter on it, put them in the oven for additional 5 minutes. Let the cakes cool for 20 minutes.
While you are waiting for the cakes to cool, make the icing!

Icing:

1. Juice half of a lemon into a bowl, make sure no pips go into it.
2. Add as much icing sugar (powdered sugar if your american) into the juice as you want, I like to have my icing quite thick so you can actually see it. But its your choice as to how thick you may want it.
3. When the cakes are finally cool, drizzle on your icing, and then eat them!

Hope you liked this recipe, and you can send me pictures on my twitter or instagram of how they turned out!

December Favourites!

Hello everyone, today I have for you my December Favourites, and I was been loving a lot of things in December. I hope you all had a great new year, and hope your having a good start to the year. Let me know in the comments what posts you would like to see,I want to do more tutorials.
Lets get started!

BEAUTY!

The first beauty product I loved was the Collection No Clumps Mascara, and this is one of the only mascaras I have tried that when you pull the wand out, it doesn't have goop* on the end. This mascara is amazing and separates your lashes really well. This is £2.99.
The next beauty product I loved was actually a pair of 2 lip products. I thought these 2 lip products went really well together. This is the Tanya Burr Lip gloss in Smile, Dream,Sparkle (£4.99), and the Collection Lip Butter in Vintage Rose(£2.99). These 2 lip products combined produce a lovely glittery glossy pink colour, and its really natural.
The next beauty product I liked were the EOS Lip Balms. They are really moisturizing and I love them so much. They are usually £5, and you can get them on Amazon, Ebay, or if your from America a local CVS probably? I have 9!
The last beauty product I loved in the month of December is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, and this is my holy grail concealer, its got really good coverage and its affordable, and that is good for some people who don't want to spend a lot. It is £4.19.

FRAGRANCE

I have only been loving one fragrance in the month of December, and that is the Charlie deodorants. They smell so good and they are only £1. I recently bought myself their christmas set, and I think they have 5 different fragrances?

MUSIC

In December, the albums I listened to the most was Taylor Swifts album 1989, it is one of the best albums I have ever listened to since One Direction bought out their first album. I love all of her songs and she is one of my favourite artists.
The next album that is a very close second to 1989 is Olly Murs album Never Been Better. I love him so much, and my favourite song is Up ft Demi Lovato.

CLOTHING

I have only been loving one item of clothing a lot this month, and this is a dressing gown. I got this from New Look in the sale, and this was £9. This is the softest thing I have ever touched in my life, I love it so much.

BATH
The one bath thing I have been loving is the Lush Melting Snowman. This is a bath melt, and I got this for £2.75. This makes my bath really soft and leaves my body feeling moisturised.

TV PROGRAMMES

Geordie Shore
I love this programme so much, its so funny, very rude...and a bit sexual. I was never allowed to watch this but I have just finished the last series, and I am starting to watching Season 1 at the moment. I actually was devastated that Vicky left.

Eastenders
Eastenders this month has been the most exciting its ever been and I just love being annoyed because an episode finished. That's when I know I am addicted to something!x

That is all my favourites for the month of January, hope you enjoyed it!
Bye!x
