My Room Tour!

Hello everyone, I have for you today, my Room Tour! I was going to do an Autumn Essentials but my room hasn't looked that bad recently, so I decided to do a Room Tour instead. Hope you enjoy!

So when you walk into my room, the first thing you will see to the right is my wardrobe, and its just a white wardrobe, and this is from Ikea, but I don't know how much it was.

The next thing you will see is my bed, and it is just a single bed. My duvet cover is from Next and I think it was £26, and they came with matching pillow cases. I have a few pillows on there, I have a Christmas Disney pillow from DisneyLand Paris. I have a fluffy pink pillow from Tesco and that was £3. I also have an I Heart Moustache Pillow, from Primark and it was £4. I usually keep my purple throw on the end but I don't know where it has gone.

The next thing in my room, is next to my bed and it is my chest of drawers. They are from Ikea and it is the same style as my wardrobe. I put my docking station on the top of it, a plate of rings, a box of matches, my sleek eye palette, my lamp, and a Bath and Body Works Mini Hand Sanitizer. I will show you what is in my first draw of my chest of drawers, but the rest of them are pants,bras and all that stuff. In my first draw, I keep all my Simple Products, my candles, my body sprays, hair products, face pads, and my nail polishes. 

 

Next to my chest of drawers is my bedside table, and I know a bedside table needs to be next to your bed, but I prefer my chest of drawers to it. I keep a little basket on my bedside table and I keep all my pots of pens in there and my Batiste Dry Shampoo. I also keep my Starbucks Cup there, and I put all my headphones in it. I also keep a mug on my bedside table, and I put all my scrunchies in there. The last thing I keep on my bedside table is my Blog Book. 

  My favourite part of my room is my Photo Wall. I have a polaroid and I stick all of my polaroid pictures on my wall, and I have a lot of other pictures on there as well. I stare at it every night and it cheers me up! 

Below this is my bookcase. This is from Homebase and this was £12.99. On the top shelf I keep my makeup, a mason jar of EOS Lip Balms, a pot of face pads, and a pot of all my makeup utensils, like brushes,tweezers and scissors. On the next shelf is a picture frame from SeaWorld and there is a picture of me and my friends, there is my Blue Polaroid Camera, and 3 box sets of One Tree Hill (my favourite show). On the next shelf, there are some books, there are some DVD's, some magazines, some notebooks and some CD's. On the last shelf there is a Giant Yankee Candle in Champaca Blossom, some perfume bottles, and some more notebooks and my Kindle.

Whats In My School Bag?

Hello everyone, today I have for you is Whats In My School Bag? I was on my profile the other day, and I was shocked to fine that over 2500 people have seen my blog, so thank you for taking the time to read my blog! Lets get started then! First of all my school bag is from Accessorise, and it was £36.00, so it was a bit on the pricey side, but its very good quality. If you notice a little white mark on my bag and you were wondering what it was, its white paint..

Okay the first thing I pulled out the top of my bag is this Batiste Dry Shampoo, and I keep this in my bag, in case during P.E or I maybe forgot to shower that morning, I can keep spraying a bit in my hair so my hair doesn't look greasy. I only have just started using this product and it is amazing! It gives your hair volume and has a really nice smell. I bought mine from Tesco for £1.99.

The next thing in my bag is my makeup bag, I am not going to show you everything in my makeup bag as I was thinking of doing a 'Whats in my makeup bag' post in a few weeks time. I don't know where my makeup bag is from, I think I won it in a raffle actually. I just have a few things I might need during school. In this picture if you were wondering, next to my makeup bag, there is the Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Just Peachy, a clear Natural Collection Mascara, and the Real Technique Pointed Foundation Brush.

The next thing I have in my bag is this book called Wonder and I believe the author is called R.J Palacio. I take this book to school for when we have this thing called 'Drop Everything And Read'. I am on page 23 at the moment, and its a very good book so far. I got it from Waterstones for £7.99. 

The next thing I have in my bag is my school planner, and I don't want people saying your school logo is in that, but it isn't my address so there is nothing to worry about. This the planner that the school gives everyone and basically, they set you homework, you write it in your planner. If you get a detention, you write it in their. 

The next thing I have in my bag is my Blog Book. I bought it from WHSmiths for £2.99. I write all my blog post ideas in there, and things I might need for a blog post. I take it to school because I always seem to get the best ideas when I am out, so I decided to take it to school with me. I bought this book before I started blogging, and I was at school and I saw it in my bag, and I had no idea what I was going to write in it, so that's where I thought of the idea to start blogging. Cute little story for you there :)

The second to last thing I have in my bag, is my pencil case. It is a Jack Wills pencil case and I think it was about £9.00. There isn't much I can say about it really, I keep my pens, pencils, rubber, sharpener and my ruler in there. 

The last and final thing I keep in my bag is my purse. My purse is from Primark and it was £5.00. I keep this with me in case I might want to buy some food from the canteen, or a snack. You never know when you might need some money I guess, so it is good to have some with you.

Vanilla Cupcakes!

Hello guys, today I have for you today is my Vanilla Cupcake Recipe, these are what they should look like and they are very tasty. Sorry for how bad quality some of the pictures are, half way during taking photos for this post,my camera died so I had to use my phone. Enjoy!

Here are the ingredients you will need and you can convert the measurements into whatever you want. These ingredients make 24 cupcakes.

Ingredients: 

8 ounces self raising flour

8 ounces caster sugar

8 ounces margarine/unsalted butter

4 eggs

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

To make the icing:
500 grams icing sugar

110g margarine

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

30ml boiling water

1/2 teaspoon of any type of food colouring you want

any decoration you may or may not want

Method: Preheat the oven to 160 degrees celcius

1. First of all you have to cream together the margarine and caster sugar until its light and fluffy.

2. Add the 4 eggs and the vanilla extract, and mix together until its quite liquidy. 

3. Add the flour bits at a time and mix it all together until it forms into a nice creamy mixture. 

4. Scoop the mixture into each individual cupcake case and only fill half of the cupcake case.

5. Put in the oven for 25-30 minutes and then leave to cool for 25 minutes.

6. Whilst you are waiting for the cupcakes to cool, make the icing.

7. Measure out the icing sugar, margarine and vanilla extract and put into a bowl. 

8. Measure out the boiling water, and please BE CAREFUL.

9.  Pour it into the bowl with the sugar, margarine and vanilla extract, and you will need an electric mixer to mix it all together, and there is a good chance your kitchen will get messy.

10. If your icing isn't thick enough then add more icing sugar. 

11. Pipe your icing onto the cupcake and decorate them with whatever you want. I used white chocolate chunks.
