Hi, my name is Marie Hunnisett and I
have started this blog, because I love to write and a lot of youtubers have
inspired me to do what I love, so I have listened to them. On my blog, you will
probably be see things like, my top favorite high end makeup products, recent purchases or places I have recently been to;maybe some quotes or
book reviews. I will be posting once a week. I hope you all enjoy my blog, and if you have any questions feel free to ask me, my instagram is marie_hunnisett and give me a follow if you want, and my twitter is @marieamber01. Today I am going to be doing a Shopping Haul, and I did buy 2 items of clothing but I am not sure if I could fit them in my background, so I am trying to sort that out but here is a group photo of what I bought in the past few days.
Okay, the first thing I purchased was this concealer, and it is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, in the shade cool medium, the price was £4.19, and I bought this in Boots. It lasts for up to 16 hours and its quite light, it doesn't feel like your actually wearing it but it still covers up spots quite well, and dark under eye circles. It blends quite well into your skin, and doesn't make your eyes look orange. I decided to buy this because I used to have the Wake Me Up Concealer by Rimmel and it was £7.00, so I didn't really want to pay that much, so I found this concealer and it gave the same effect to my skin for a much cheaper price.
The next item I purchased, was a nail polish and it is a Barry M nail polish in the shade Pink Flamingo and it was £2.99 and I bought this in Superdrug. I really wanted to find a really bright summer nail colour, and I saw this and then I saw the price and then I was sold. The colour pretty much goes with most outfits and doesn't over power it, if you know what I mean. It dries within approximately 2-4 minutes, it depends on how many coats you put on. I usually put on 2 coats, and it gives a nice shine to it.
The next item I bought is a bit more expensive for what it is, but I couldn't resist, it is this Essie Nail Polish in the shade Thigh High. It was £7.99 and I bought this in the Essie counter in Boots. I really liked this colour because it reminds me of Christmas time, and its a nice colour for Autumn - Winter. Its a really nice cherry red, and you only need one coat and it glitters in the light. I know its quite expensive for a nail polish but Essie is really good quality and I don't really mind paying that much for it. I also bought it because I wanted a christmassy colour for the next few months.
The next thing I purchased, well I didn't actually buy this, my mum did. It is these 2 storage pots and they are from Ikea, and they were £2.50 each. These pots are really practical and good for storing nail polishes and makeup brushes, and they have got a nice look to it. I believe you can get these in a baby pink colour and a baby green colour. They are made from metal I believe and very sturdy. They are made to be candle holders but you can use them for whatever you want. I am using them to store nail polishes, and makeup things like makeup brushes and eye lash curlers and tweezers.
The next thing my mother bought from Ikea for me was this little plate, and it is £4.00, and I use this for storing my rings and burning my candles. It is the same material as the storage pots above, you can use this for whatever you want, even to hold snacks or food.
The second to last thing I purchased, is this A5 notebook, and it was £2.99, and it is from WHsmiths. It has got 2 little owls on it on top of a tree. I bought this so I can my blogs in it, and write down what I plan on doing, and also maybe some lists, of things I need and want to buy. Its a perfect size book, and it also comes in A4 size.
I have a woodland stationary and book theme at home at the moment, they are just really cute.
The final thing I purchased was Nail Polish Remover Pot and it was only £1.00 and I bought it in Primark. If you don't know what I am on about, its a pot, and there is sponge inside covered in nail polish remover. You put your nail polished finger in to it and twist it for 5-10 seconds and you take your finger out and all of your nail polish has come off. I think its really good for people (like me) who can't be bothered to take their nail polish off, and you just put your finger in, twist and nail polish has come off.
I hope you enjoyed my first blog, enjoy, bye bye!x
